Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate - Thoughts?

I really like the look of this watch, but really don't know anything about the brand at all.

Does anyone have any info on Blancpain generally or this watch specifically as to whether it's a good buy? I believe the price is around £12,500

I would say Blancpain are one of the great watchmakers. Arguably the inventors of the classic dive watch style we see everywhere today (the Fifty Fathoms).
However, personally not a fan of that particular watch - really don’t like Roman numerals and the date window is too far from the edge of the dial, suggesting the movement is to small for the case, which is disappointing from a maker of Blancpain’s calibre (no pun intended).
