I’m in the market for a used Giulia and understand Alfa introduces the 5 year warranty in 2018. What I can’t seem to discern through google is if this is transferable to second owner, was it on all cars from a certain month, did it end at some point and if so when?

Thanks in advance

I was looking at prereg stelvio QFs for my GF and the balance of the 5 year warranty was a big draw. A couple of dealers did say you would only get 3 years on used however as the 5 year was only for the new buyer as an incentive.

One dealer did say you would get the balance of the 5 year warranty however.

We didn’t buy one so didn’t ever dig too deeply into it.

Yes balance is transferable to new owner as I did this when I sold my first Stelvio quad.

Here is the extract from the policy - refer to transfer section.

I got my Giulia middle of June 2018 and the 5-3-5 offer came out just after I'd taken delivery (bugger!).

I think the 5-3-5 offer was only on retail sales, so if you were looking at a car which had been previously leased it may well not have that cover.
