SMAX Recirculation valve - can it be made quieter?

Hi guys, I have a 2010 240PS SMAX.

when lifting off the accelerator the valves makes a whistle noise which is becoming annoying.

Anyone know how to make it quieter? Having looked in the engine bay there seems to be some foam around the top as standard from the factory.

Sounds like someone in the engine bay is blowing a high pitched whistle
