Restaurants I've been to all of the waiting staff have been wearing full head visor things.

I'd take one with me - it's better to have one available and not use it, rather than hunting around for one if you do..

Do you want to?

It seems like an entirely personal choice.

If you want to wear one, then wear one. confused

You couldn't have picked a worst time to start this job with further restrictions likely!

Pure troll post. It’s very obvious this will have come up in discussion already given OP will have been to the restaurant already & no doubt spoken with several people there.

Pffft.

I’d say yes as it might make some diners feel more at ease and you are there working for them

Turn up wearing nothing but your mask...

... cover your penis with it.

No, it puts me off as a customer seeing staff serving you wearing a mask.

That is mental.

‘It puts me off as a customer when I see the taxi driver wearing a seat belt’.

Not wearing a seat belt is illegal. Not waring a mask (for staff) is legal.

As a taxi passenger, I don't care if my driver wears a seat belt - I don't sit in front of him to be squished if he hits something.

I'd rather have a waiter (or anyone coming that close to me) wear a mask.

Will a face covering suffice?

I think you need a gimp suit and fireman's air bottle.

Can't be too careful.
