Lets just say it needs a bit of work! I'm in the process of turning this from a dead car to a daily driver. So far its not going too well!

I really wanted to make the joke "it's not a story behind it, that's a ___ _ that's been covered in dust" but I have no idea what that car in the background is paperbag

Thanks guys. Firstly the car behind is a Camaro. Why does everyone ask about that! Lol

Anyway I don’t want to give too much away because I’ll be doing a series on my YouTube channel. Backstory is that it was involved in a rear accident 3 years ago. The guy who I bought it from purchased it around 12 months ago, but it didn’t progress.

I purchased it around 5 weeks ago and have been looking into the repair. But what I thought was just body turned out to be engine as well. I’ll leave the detail of the saga to the video, but mention because I put another post about the engine block.

Another thing to mention is I and the car are in Saudi Arabia, which makes things harder in some respects and easier in others. So far it’s been a nightmare but I’m not put off! Pushing forward with the rebuild against all wisdom directed my way!

Also just to add that I’ve been doing a lot of research into the car from a technical perspective and it’s fascinating. I’ve always loved the design but learning about the structure, body, engine and other mechanicals has been really interesting. Hopefully I’ll be able to share as much of what I learn here and on the vlogs.

Sounds interesting and well worthy of being a youtube project. What's your channel so I can follow this?
