Banks seem to be withdrawing services from expats in Europe in preparation for a no deal Brexit. Lloyds and Barclays have already started notifying people, I've not heard anything from Santander yet though, as the British arm of Spanish bank are they likely to stop too? Anyone know which banks in the UK already have EU licenses?

There is a little bit here about it although this only covers France.

Just use a UK address for admin if you have someone to receive the odd letter, most accounts can be paperless anyway and run online.

It a little dependant on which country you are expat in as it's not an EU wide issue for some of the banks at least.

Apparently Lloyds are ok everywhere except the Netherlands or Slovakia, presumably with the loss of passporting they need to get licenses in each country and they don't have enough customers here (NL) to warrant it.

Santander and HSBC currently sound like they might be ok.

Looks like ABN AMRO and ING's UK wings are only corporate/investment banks.
