Hi,

What an excellent day I've had - cruising down to Portland with about 23 other TVRs - the roof was off, the sun was out and the engines were burbling! I've posted some pictures I took on my website:

http://members.lycos.co.uk/tvrccdorset/

If you click on "Diary" then "Cruise to Portland" it will take you straight there!

A quick question to any web designers out there - when I preview the page in Dreamweaver everything looks fine, but when I check it online, there are no scroll bars on the "Cruise to Portland" page so you can only read half of what I have written (unless you hilight the text and drag the hilight off the bottom of the page) - any ideas why?

Thanks again to everybody involved in an excellent day out!

dan

Looks like a great day Shamus!

I have no idea why you dont get the scroll bars, but I am aware that Dreamweaver does have a 'clean up code' option which might be worth trying. Not that I know much about html but having had a play with dreamweaver and had disgusted comments from web developers I know the code isn't great (I maybe teaching you to suck eggs here, if so sorry).

Oh... and surely you meant there were 2 convoys of 11.5 cars that just happened to be going the same way, officer

See you in Bristol later this month.

Cheers Dan

Hi Dan & Mrs Dan

As lead (why did I volentee to do a route ?), I think I can say that we broke up pretty quickly and if we got 12 cars together we were doing pretty well. However a geat day out - I blame the Surrey mob and their sun dance for my glowing forehead & nose (Oooops - forgot the sun cream again).

Shamus - well done with the report (I missed the bit at the T junction - was that the road past the tank proving grounds ?). Good to see that you kept up with Trevor. I remember trying to do that in the Chim to Castle Coomb with Paul - I'm sure the Tuscans had to wait for me a number of times probably much to their frustration !

Bob

PS What was that Sausage meat pie recipie ?
