So Mrs. H has decided the Denon CD+Twin Cassette+Amp with Tannoy Mercury M2 and 100s of CDs no longer pleases her, too big, too many wires. I have tried to steer her towards a Denon mini D-MT41 DAB, but even that would have too many wires (!). She's leaning towards something like a Bose Resolve+. Now, I have a Sony SRS-x3, which is a fun little thing, a buddy has a Bose Soundlink Mini which is cool enough too, but hardly Hi-Fi nor indeed even stereo. I am by no means an audio buff but I like my music, and balanced, warm, clear, involving would be keywords I like in reviews. Budget is naturally a consideration. Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Naim, lovely I'm sure, nearly 2.5 grand without speakers though!
A system that would read music on SD cards with a screen to show albums would be fab.

I've been using a Marantz M-CR611 linked to some Q Acoustics 3020 in my office for 3 years now, and it's been a great little system.

Has an ethernet input for internet radio etc, links via bluetooth to my phone to stream Tidal (shows track details on the screen).

Doesn't have an SD port but does have a front USB port - never used it but I assume you can play off USB sticks

Denon do a similar model (internally just about identical - they belong to the same parent company).

Got my daughter the Ceol model paired with tiny Wharfdale diamonds and they’re really rather good for the size and price. No album art when streaming from the NAS or USB but it does have a clear display for album/artist details etc.

And it’s white so matches all the Apple stuff - that was important apparently...

All lovely, I'm sure. However, has anyone come across the Cambridge Audio Yoyo M? No wires, a stereo pair, they might suit Mrs. H, at any rate.
