Piece of string. What sort of coffee do you like, where are you?
There's a world of difference between Costa, Starbucks, flat whites and ristrettos. It's not ideal timing for sampling, but there may be a small independent roaster near you that is amazing, and you'll feel a lot better than bunging your money at a global company.

Im in Norfolk, just south of Norwich. There's a world of difference between Costa, Starbucks, flat whites and ristrettos. Tbh, I have no preference to coffee as I usually just buy the essprosso beans from Lidl :P
There is the The Tea Junction in the Castle Mall, which sell a large variation of coffee beans.
Pact for me. Reasonably priced, easy to set up a regular delivery and it's constantly the best coffee I have tried. My referral link....

Despite this stuff being sold in petrol stations, it's actually not bad. I've bought a bag or two in an emergency, and its FAR better than the Lidl stuff, which I found undrinkable, personally.I have a subscription with Volcano, loads of great beans from there.
Local roastery for me - does mail order/roasts to order and will grind to suit your method too (french press/stove top etc)

Won plenty of awards for his blends! Plus if you're local (generally, not OP) Aide is always up for a chat and a brew!

Poor quality beans in there. You could try Strangers for top stuff but it's pretty expensive! If however you just want a nice coffee that tastes like coffee, Marks&spencer colombian beans are a steal at £3.50. Sainsburys taste the difference Colombian also only £3.50. It won't take you on a tasting journey, but it does taste good. I've tried most of the 'hipstery' 'artisan' (whatever that means beyond marketing speak) coffee beans at extortionate prices to find that it's generally insipid tasting stuff and I have to say that a 1kg bag of Lavazza (yeah, I know) Super Crema beans off the 'bay for £14 delivered every fortnight always hits the spot. Been on the stuff for the last 4 years and it's just great.

I picked up some really nice beans from this place on my last visit to Norwich. Verona Espresso was a really good blend.
Great quality beans from this lot, and good price if you order enough for free delivery.

I like Sumatra beans which are not that common - they have them and many other varieties too. Miles is not local to me but I found them in lockdown and won't be going back to.my old supplier.
Just ordered another 2kg yesterday afternoon, that's about 6 weeks supply for us. Delivered this morning at 9.30.
