2012 Golf convertible roof not working. Help!

I went to put the roof down today and when I pushed the button a yellow warning showing a picture of the car with the roof raising appeared. The central display showed, " Convertible roof error refer to workshop" or words to that effect. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but to no avail. For clarity my car is a cabriolet not an EOS. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Hi.

Yes. This happened just a few days before the car went in for service and MOT with my local independent VW specialist. I asked them to see what the problem was and it turned out to be just a fuse. I've had no problems since. I thought I had checked all the fuses when the problem first appeared but I either missed it or it's separate from the main fuse boards. I haven't been able to find a fuse board diagram to identify which fuse it is. There doesn't appear to be one for the convertible. I hope your issue is as easy to solve as mine was.
