I currently have a Denon AVR-1912, which was around £450 new and has served me well. I used to run surround sound and watch films at high volume, but nowadays I pretty much just run the 3 front speakers and a sub, at low volumes.

I have a 4K panel and I’ve just ordered a XBox Series X. The trouble is, the AVR-1912 will not support 4K pass-through. Any recommendations on an AV receiver that is a modern replacement to the AVR-1912, but with 4K support? Budget is £200-£400. Speakers are Elac Cinema 1.

I like the Marantz NR1510, partly due to the fact it’s slim line in dimensions. I’m open to buying on eBay to save some cash.

I am running a Denon-AVRX-2600H that fits your bill though £29 over your budget.

Thanks for the recommendation! Some thread closure; I've ordered the Denon AVR-X1600H. It pretty much does what I need it to do; 4K pass-through, 6 HDMI ports, Dolby Atmos etc. £360 ... Done! smile
