10 grand everyday camper possible?

When I say everyday I mean town driving once or twice a week.

Must be ULEZ compliant. Although if I'd get a diesel cheaper, which would also be cheaper on fuel, I'd divert a bit of that budget to a city car.

I use my VW T25 more than that and have done for 7 years. So long as you plan preventative maintenance, have a fund for emergency repairs and are prepared (maybe once a year or so) to use a back up plan (hire car, public transport...) it works fine. And that was a £4k van that is now 34 years old. For £10k you can get soemthing a bit more modern (late VW T4, Merc / Ford / Fiat based diesel etc). Buy carefully, keep your eyes open and enjoy!
