Door Handle LEDs V8V 2007
Discussion
Door Handle LED's. - When I unlock the car the passenger door LED lights up, but do not go out until I open the passenger door. If I don't open that door, it never goes out, until I lock the car.
Also the drivers door does not light at all.
I have recently had my door cards off to have the mirror stalks powder coated. Maybe something has not been reconnected properly. I have also had the passenger door lock mechanism replaced as the door would not lock. I may have had the issue beforehand and not noticed.
Does anyone have any ideas, Thanks

Just checked on my 2007 V8V and the Door Handle LED‘s are both on after unlocking with the fob. After opening one of the doors the LED on that particular door goes off. If I don’t open any door, both LED‘s are turning off after 30 seconds and the door locking mechanism is locking the doors again (again after 30 seconds).
I would try to remove both fuses from the door modules (F82 & F83) and wait for a few minutes before putting them back in. This is kind of resetting the door modules and might help you ...
Cheers
