All have drive select, this is simply Audi’s name for “selectable drive modes”.
DRC is hydraulically adjustable dampers, dIagonally linked across axles to vary ride and roll stiffness. Optional as part of sport pack.
It works pretty well but is expensive to repair when it leaks. Most B8s will want are least new front dampers in their lifetimes. Budget something like a grand a corner fitted.

Have you tried the S4 of that model?
Coming from a B7 RS4 I tried the RS4 and S4 in the B8, and actually preferred the S over the RS.
The B8 RS4 doesn’t have the same sort of dynamics as the previous version, and something about the S just clicked with me.
In the end I bought neither, and went in a very different direction (997 911 GTS Cabriolet), but I think it’ll be worth you at least seeing if you can have a try.

I had a B8 from 2014-17, not as good as the B7 but a decent drive. The engine needs a lot of revs and I found some of the tech irritating (pre sense was a pain), but it was more chuckable than you might imagine.
Mine had the sports and tech pack which includes DRC, I’d say it’s the option to go for over standard suspension. I’ve owned three RS Audi’s all with DRC and never had a problem, but each was from new and sold within 3 years. RS246.com is a good source of advice and information if you’re serious about an RS Audi.
