VW Convertible

Mrs Summers has a Golf Convertible. If it has been stood in the rain and then parked on an incline you can see water dripping out of the bottom of the body, just in front of the rear wheel.

I am guessing that water has been running off the roof between the material and the body and finding a cavity.

Is this usual behaviour and would you do anything about it?
