Good pubs near Harwich?

Taking our 1 year old swimming as a birthday treat near Harwich and looking for a good pub nearby for lunch afterwards. Will have two children with us so not too posh, ideally no more than 15min drive from Harwich as the little man will be getting grumpy soon after the swim!

Pretty sparse pickings around Harwich. Just up the road (18 minutes according to the map...) you’ll find The Haywain in Little Bromley. That’s a lovely place.
