Deezer vs Spotify
Discussion
Been a Deezer music subscriber on a family plan for a few years now. I was hooked due to a free trial in a BMW I had and have maintained my subscription. Having briefly migrated to Audi and not liking Android Auto I'm now back in a BMW and using the streaming with Connected Music.
BMW have emailed to say from November Deezer and Napster have been dropped from Connected Music and I can either use BT streaming via Android Auto (which I believe has improved) or Spotify.
So thoughts on Spotify? Does anyone know if I can migrate playlists across?

I did download an app on my iPhone (probably available on Android too) that allowed you to put your login details to all of the major music services you have signed up to and then replicate playlists. I keep trying TIDAL as I want the higher quality but evey time I try, it just doesn't have the library. I used this app to get a couple of Spotify playlists over to TIDAL as a trial. I can't remember the name of the app but with a bit of Googling I'm sure it will come up. I've deleted it now.

I dont listen to music enough to warrant paying for a thing like this.
But I do think Spotify deliberately make their advertising so annoying to make you either stop using free or pay (an obvious but sad move).
I sometimes listen to music I already own that I simply find it easy to listen to via Spotify, I dont have an MP3 player or anything ora phone with tons of space, so this is fairly easy.
But the adverts are truly awful, same two ads for at least an hour earlier today, I get it, make the grind so awful that you either quit or buy.
But there must be better ways surely.

What about BBC Sounds? All radio shows for 30 days after first transmission and a lot of older stuff on there too. Between all of the BBC's radio output there will be at least some shows which play the music you like, and the joy of BBC Sounds is you don't have to be awake at 3am on a Tuesday to listen to the specialist output.
Also the shows are curated by professional DJs and hosts, rather than an algorithm.
