Whatsmore they present a scenario based on pandemic modelling - that may happen. I must have missed the bit where they said it WILL happen. They simply laid out less desirable futures if measures were not taken. Then quite clearly said it was upto the politicians to decide what to do, not them.

I don't buy the conspiracy theory but it seems pretty clear (to me) that Boris and his cohorts have completely mishandled CV19 and that masks are largely political and a means of maintaining the narrative adopted last lockdown that this is an existential crisis. They can now say if the death rate continues to fall that it's 'cos masks' or in the alternative then "just think how bad it could have been if we didn't mandate nappies". At the start of this the celebrity medics (Hilary, Jarvis et al) were 100% clear that masks did nothing and now they seem to have become the front line weapon of choice - never saw the scientific study which changed all of that. We are all being played and it continues to amaze me how meekly everyone has surrendered to this.
My family is full of medics (I'm not one) and to a tee they all think its a gross over reaction.
