Good morning guys,

I'm going to the Ritz on Sunday for Afternoon Tea. I'm tempted to take the DBS but not if the car parking spaces are stupidly small.

Has anyone else parked there? It seems Covid has taken away their valet parking option.

Hello Tim, sadly I don't have an answer but:

1. This post reads so classy and very British here in Italy. smile

2. Do you normally trust valets? I feel highly uncomfortable leaving them my Vantage and her key.

Regardless, have a great time on Sunday.

On the second point: a pal of mine had a few £k of damage to his carbon splitter by LHR valet parking. Took a helluva lot of work to get them to admit to the damage. Of course The Ritz would have classier guys (when it is allowed), I’m sure, but nonetheless......
& sorry, never parked there, so also adding no value here!

Ouch. I had a similar experience with my Range Rover in Paris, a curbed wheel after a valet parked it. Sadly, I saw it after a couple weeks, so no point in trying to have them take responsibility.

Plenty of big space off street parking in nearby Berkeley Street and Berkeley Square. Remember to pay £15 congestion charge

I would use public transport and not bother with the risk tbh - or take something else you care less about

Would not recommend public transport. Might spoil your special occasion.

It was jolly awkward when we went to the Ritz, because it coincided our chauffeur's day orf.
Luckily our butler can drive the limousine, so he took us there. One needs to arrive in style.

Scrumptious.

I work next door and I always used to park my DB9 on Dover street, just across the road from The Ritz. On a Sunday most people seem to forget that you can actually park on Piccadilly outside the Ritz!

Now I park in Knightsbridge and walk along Piccadilly to avoid the congestion charge.

Some good suggestions here.

You can also use Q Park underneath Hyde Park and then a short walk over to the Ritz.

Lots of high end cars are kept there longer term so fun to check out too and they even have background music to keep you entertained!
