Anthra****ingcite grey!!!!

Anthracite grey, RAL 7016 whatever you want to call it, is it compulsory now? Three houses close to me have had their white pvc windows sprayed in it and quite a few others had their replacement windows finished in it. I’ve just re-painted the outside of my property in green and cream, will I have to re-do it in order to conform?Mini rant over

We've got grey window frames and doors because the house was built with them. It's a modern design of house, and it looks fine in context. A few older houses in the street have recently had mild refurbs including grey window frames, and they just look odd. I bet they'll get replaced with white again next time round when the fashion has changed...

I see old houses with floral carpets, pink/green porcelain bathrooms and do wonder if this grey fad is our equivalent.

Still, it's better than these glossy white kitchens everyone seems to have with spot lights everywhere...

We had our loft conversion done with anthracite window/doors. Knowing that they will be a total pain in the to clean, white was a 100% no go

On a roof it’s a good idea. Looks very commercial on a house. See whole ‘contemporary’ estates being done now in anthracite, doesn’t look too bad when they are all the same. White looks great with the right windows, just not the plain shiny PVC
