Hi folks, car is a 2010 Octavia vRS petrol manual estate facelift. Under acceleration there is occasional hesitation up to about 3k. Most likely culprit? Coilpacks? MAF?
Sometimes a bit worse when cold but still present all the time.

Help muchly appreciated!!

Regards

Chaz

I'd say coilpacks, or spark plugs. Does it do it under generally medium to hard acceleration and not when gently pulling away? For relatively low cost worth replacing fuel filter too in case its clogged up.

320d is all you need

Need to use a diagnostic scanner, like VCDS.

Could be lots of things.

Trying to get hold of one, not terrible but annoying!

Coil packs are my first thought. Hopefully something simple anyway...!!

Worth noting if it is a coil pack starting to fail it may not show up as a fault yet, even if you use a diagnostic tool.

Ah thanks, might just do a full swap anyway. They don't last forever and I tend to do a fair few miles in my cars so preventative jobs are always wortwhile. Not yet checked the plugs but they should be obvious!
