Trying to make up my own pressure transducer cable to do vehicle in cylinder pressure testing on my Snap-on verus.I have a 500psi pressure transducer, three wires come off this,a 5v,a ground and a signal wire.
At the other end there should be a 9 pin mini din plug I need to solder on to those three wires.
Does anyone know if any of the 9 pin connector pins are generic from one plug to the next, say three of the 9 pins are always designated for a ground,a signal wire and my 5 colt wire?Or would I need to get a schematic wiring diagram specific to the Snap-on?
I have included a pic below, any help appreciated!

In my experience of working in a test laboratory with similar kind of stuff, all the strain gauge transducers, lasers, load cells etc, come with bare flying leads. Simply because they will get plugged into different types of DAQ units. Only time they come with a plug on is when it's for the DAQ unit supplied by the sensor company.

Long story short...there should be a wiring convention with the sensor and one with whatever you are plugging into.

Probably not much help......

You need the pinout for whatever you're plugging in to. Nothing is standardised in this world, even things with the same connector have different pinouts.
