I just noticed that Brave New World has appeared on sky with very little fanfare - any love for it or is it bobbins?

The book was good but don’t know about this adaptation. Book is famous because of the subject matter but not Huxley’s best. After a thirty year gap rereading Point Counter Point at the moment. Reminding myself why it is one of my favourite books, along with Eyeless in Gaza.

Watched the first one and it held my interest for an hour which I'm finding new series harder and harder to do.

Having never read the book I’ve no idea how close this is to it. Enjoying it so far and might well binge watch it today given lack of sport on tv and weather is crap. One thing I did notice is a lack of pensioners and children. I assume this is true to the novel however I think Brave Nude World might be a more accurate title.
Demi Moore has certainly changed a bit!!

It’s had some modern touches applied, whilst still having elements close to the ideas in the book...

Now on Ep 6 and it’s worthwhile as the overall plot unfolds in interesting ways.

I think it’s great!

I'm also up to episode 6 and really enjoying it. It's an interesting premise and I'm intrigued to see where it goes as I haven't read the book, the 3 main characters are well acted and likeable, the boob count is high. It has a similar feel to the first series of Westworld which is no bad thing.
