Have been from one end of the scale to the other and from saloons to estates and everything in between.

Kind of settled on a 535d, found the perfect one on eBay but before I got a chance to go somebody came and bought it this evening!

So back to square one (again).

Looking for an estate ideally, want something fun, fuel doesn't matter just want something in good condition and something not very common.

Current shortlist in order of preference:
535d m sport touring
S8 (D2)
Subaru Legacy spec-B
159 sportswagon

The only request from the Mrs is DAB & cupholder but I'd rather get something old and more interesting and retro fit DAB later.

I've even considered getting a land cruiser or a 4.5 cayenne but think I'm just looking half hearted there.

Perhaps it's just a patience thing now I know what I want I have to wait again for a nice one to come back up

Fun and 159 don't belong in the same sentence I'm afraid. Stunning looking thing but sold mine after 2 months because it was a very dull drive.

Look at an X3 3.0SD, they're brilliant sleepers with a lot of interior space and a seriously well sized boot

Can vouch for the dealer of this one - seriously good.
