Think I have read that pads should be replaced at 50% wear for cars equipped with PCCBs, can anyone confirm this please?
Mine were 33% worn at 15k miles, car is now on 22k, so must be getting close to 50%

Yup, replace early. On mine I’ve noticed they start to feel a bit different past 50% when working them hard.

Helps with heat that’s all, as it’s heat which kills the ceramic disks.
Also helps with the pad taper effect.
Road use you can run them to 80% no issue.
