This car looks low to me but nothing in the description or options spec about sports suspension option? What do you reckon?

Also anyone lowered their 7GTS, what’s it like and what’s your recommendation.

I’ve no experience of lowering one but that looks about right to my eye ? There’s a gap at the front tyre top to wing ? Shouldn’t it have centre locks ?

Could be hard to tell....the first photo it does look like the rear is marginally lower than standard but that could be the angle. You could option the GTS with 5 lug wheels....quite rare so if you don’t like CL’s a big positive ! Most people want CL’s though.

Still looks lowered to me, when you compare it with the cab also up for sale, even allowing for the different wheel design.

I agree that it looks lowered by aftermarket suspension. The front wheel especially looks quite tucked into the arch.

If you look at the paperwork you can just see that it's had H&R spings fitted so is lower. Wheels need a refurb, centre caps replacing and a couple spots of rust sorting on door entry. Big issue is also that it has the button type pdk steering wheel fitted.

You’re far more observant than I! Thank you thumbup

I’d like mine lowered for looks but don’t want everything else that goes with it (comfort, clearance and handling the very bumpy A and B roads I use it on). I would love it if there was a magic answer but I don’t think there is. Love it as it is from the drivers seat, less so looking at it in the garage and the first trumps the second!

Have a look at the DSC sport PASM controller as you could probably get away with lowering springs and retaining or improving the bumpy road drivability. I’ve been reading a lot of positive experiences. It runs different software and allows a broader range of movement in the damper and can control each corner independently.

I already have one installed and really like it. Improved ride whilst less roll. So that’s my baseline before lowering, making the challenge harder!

Ah! I’ve been looking to add it to mine, good to see another positive review.

T tv hat was a good spot, and the DSC Controller is on my list, personally I’d want CL’s and PCCB, if I were getting the GTS I’d want the trimmings,

Here’s my 4 GTS which has Ohlins R&T coilovers and has been dropped by about 25mm - set up by Chris at Centre Gravity.

I had H&R lowered springs on my 7 GTS, along with a adjusted geo it transforms the car. Not quite a good motorway cruiser as steering became a bit more fidgety but much more direct in the twisty stuff, with PASM didn't effect the ride quality.

Yeah that looks much better when dropped. Think I need a chat with centre gravity to see if I could achieve what I’m looking for.

I think it’s about right personally PDK, 4wd, no CL’s, no Alcantara, highish mileage and no warranty

I lowered my 997.2 GTS using H&R springs and found it to be a great upgrade. Visually improved it also felt more compliant offering improved ride quality and better handling.
Here is some pics of mine (GT3 / RS wheels fitted) and I think it lowered by around -20mm

I remember when you did that Chris, looked great. Interesting you found it more compliant on the H&Rs as intuitively I worry about the opposite

Odd spec.... no chrono or flappy paddles plus no centre locks. All the gts ness has been removed....
