Spotted - (Riviera?) Blue 911 (997?) IWM Duxford Yesterday
Discussion
Possibly someone on here? We exchanged a few brief words - I was in the CTR with my daughter.
My Porsche knowledge is somewhat limited (as you can see from the thread title) but I was rather taken with the look of this car, possibly enough to divert me from getting back into Lotus ownership!
The internet tells me it might be a Riviera blue 997 with a GT3 aerokit (I assume as it was badged 911 rather than GT3), wheels were black but no idea which. Sorry no pics to help!
On the off chance the owner is on here perhaps he could confirm the spec? Cheers :-)

DW Youtube channel is one of my favourites.
Is this the same car? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMR5J9HoiaY

Thanks for the info guys!
Judging by my subsequent research that's not the car, the spoiler was different - Gen 1 I believe and it was badged 911 rather than GT3. Certainly was the right colour however.
These do indeed seem to be rather a rare colour, so if I wanted to get into something similiar (not a GT3 unfortunately!) I'm guessing my best bet would be to buy a 997 with aerokit then wrap it.
Cheers :-)

Another aerokitted Riviera blue 997 C2S appeared for sale about 5 years ago, I missed it by a day ...

They are indeed rare.

Nice one, yes that is it (only differrence were the wheels which had a more "complicated" design. That is a lovely car!! http://www.burevalleyclassics.co.uk/listings/porsc...

As you say, also a rare combination by the looks of it.
