TVR 390SE Window Motor replacement

Hi - Need some help...

the window motor on my 390SE has ceased - have removed the scissor mechinism from the door, and taken the motor from the assembly.. and it is totally ceased. Does anyone have any idea where I can get replacement or even, what the donor part was from?

Welcome to the asylum.
This would probably have been better posted in the Wedge forum down below the posh new cars .

Motor is from a Rover Vanden Plas/Vitesse, SD1 shape. The rear door window mechanism from the same car is almost identical as well, just requires a minor modification to make it fit.
Had to replace one of mine when I first bought the car. Good luck with finding one in the scrappies though.

Or you could try ebay, there were a couple on there not so long ago.
