Doing 3 point turn on a no stopping entrance

I was on a road marked no stopping at any time on entrances. Entrances were to a school.

I did 3 point turns a few times throughout the day on this road using the school entrance and I also reversed into it while trying to turn the car.

There was definitely a camera on the spot.

I’m panicking. Will I be getting a tickets because you could argue I momentarily stopped at the entrance numerous times. There were other parts of tevroad I could have used.

Silly me. This is what I hate about being in new areas.

I was tempted to observe that into each life a little rain must fall, but instead let's accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative: Threads like this are surely cause for optimism and good feelings, because they show that some people lead lives that are so free of genuine worries that they "panic" after situations such as that described by the OP. Maybe one day we can all live such lives!

OP, if being in "new areas" is a concern to you, have you reviewed why you possess a mechanical/electronic device that is partly (and indeed mainly) designed to enable its user to go to many areas, some of which may be new to the user?

Why?

I'm struggling to recall any occasion when I've made such turns "a few times" in the same road on the same day. What were you doing driving up and down outside the school?

OP, chill out. Stopping means stopping. Turning around is not stopping.*

Next time, just do handbrake turns and doughnuts in a Vin Diesel stylee. Nobody could possibly complain about someone doing that outside a school.

What a pleasant area - rather more salubrious than the bit of New Cross Gate just down the road from there where I lived in the mid 80s. OP, as you were near Goldsmith's College, you can argue that you were completing your MA Performance Art Installation. You should get a Distinction.

Seriously, stop fretting over nothing, The worst that could happen would be a modest fine. Nobody is going to send you to jail, impound your car, double your insurance premium, or slag you off on social media. Except for PH, but this is a famous snark pit.

I am the designated spider remover in our house, and enormous spiders (over 1 inch from leg tip to leg tip) are a regular occurrence in my wife's bath tub. It's a tough job, but a brave manly man has to step up and deal with it.

It is st James road in new cross. You can see there’s two entrances with no stopping and keep clear signs on them.

I know I want go to prison but I’m pretty broke at the moment. I did turns here so many times in one day it cos i didn’t think doing a turn/reversing into the entrance to while turning constitutes stopping or not keeping the area clear.
