Ok..guilty pleasure I must admit. I bought a switch not so long ago so I could replay all the childhood classic, so far so good and been impressed by the console.
I’ve just bought ringfit adventure, I like the concept but questioning whether I can get fit from a video game.

So... do you think you can actually get fit from this game and have you had any experience yourself ?

No experience of it but i can't see it being any different from watching and following exercise videos online or on the TV.

If it gets you working out and burning calories I'm sure it will work and as always you will probably need to do it in tandem with a good diet to get results.

The advert makes it seem like the peripheral does some sort of resistance training as well.

Lots of videos on YouTube raving about it and saying how good the workout is and helped people get fit and lose weight so looks like a winner.

I've got a copy, played it for approximately a week before my second son was born and I certainly found myself dripping in sweat and out of breath after using it. The resistance on it is pretty decent and it was able to track fairly accurately my movements. Things like the Yoga and certain poses are hard to tell if you're doing it right as that's where a dedicated instructor comes in and will provide correction, but considering it's a game I think it does a great job.
