Stumbled on it last week and so far it's an enjoyable watch.
The plot is a little far fetched and some of the characters are annoying and awkward but it seems to work. Brian Cox is just brilliant and thoroughly unpleasant.
If you watch the multi-part Murdoch documentary, you'll realise that Succession is no more far fetched than the reality! It's basically a dramatisation of Murdoch family life (but none the worse for that, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next series).
