What with all the reported warped brake discs on the Cerb. Are there any recommendations on upgrades that will lessen the chances of this happening again?
Maybe grooved discs are a possibility. Would this aid cooling?
What about those petal discs, Galfer I think make them, would these be a possibility. The car is a 4.5 with the drilled discs.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I had the big AP grooved brake upgrade by Joospeed nearly 2 years ago. Big improvement in performance, no fading and no warping at all, despite several track days and nearly 15000 road miles. I'm sure Joo's new tuning company will be selling these along with lots of other upgrades.

Thanks CJ,
Do you have any contact info for Joolz?
I like the upgrade idea, the standard ones are all right but not earth shatteringly excellent.
What cost, and did the upgrade include pads and braided hoses? That’s if it doesn’t already have them.
Cheers
Nick.

Just spoken to Joo and mentioned the discs, he's got a pair on the shelf. Just mail me through my profile and I'll forward it to Joo. He'll fill you in on pads, fluid, prices etc.

Absolutely. Takes some reading but well worth it IMHO.

Hi,

I've had warped discs and I've read the articles about how discs don’t warp - it's just residue build up from the pads!!!

So I followed the recommendations for cleaning the discs and pads - It doesn't work.

Just get them skimmed or buy new. They are really easy to change, takes about 15 minutes per side.

6 on my machine! Is that a bigger build up of posts than pads?

Hi,

Something went wrong when I posted

It should have only appeared once.

Cheers
