Anyone got any history on the above car, found here:

Appears to have been unsold at auction in 2017:

And has done 3000 miles since and is now missing front cage and side script has been removed.
I'm almost certain I've had conversations with people about this car prior but cannot find records, anyone got any information on it's history?

The car belongs to a guy whose on 911uk & Marky911 looked at it previously though bought a car without the “upgrades”. The car was previously sold by The Supercar Rooms & here’s at least one thread on it & talks about the upgrades & the fact it was supposedly put in storage for 4 yrs at one point etc.....

Be aware that I was advised it suffered an over rev and it was compression tested with a 20% difference between 1 and 6...

That thing was ROUGH with a capital R when I viewed it.
I discounted it on that alone before even knowing about any leakdown issues (if that is definitely correct).
The over rev was very early on its life. Something like 400 operating hours from new. Nothing to worry about usually IF a leakdown test comes back ok, but it doesn’t sound like it will.
Anyway, there are way better examples out there. I will say it looks much better back on the proper wheels.
Time to move on OP.

So, to close out on this thread, I've bought this car.
The leakdown numbers are 10% and below, with a maximum of 4% loss between all cylinders on the same bank. Not sure where the 20% rumour came from but its inaccurate. There have been limited range 2 over revs (82) which occurred over 2000 operating hours ago. The cam dwell data looks ok which indicates no stretch on the cam chain above normal wear & tear.
I've spoken to leading Porsche specialists who confirm there is nothing to worry about with the above data and they would retail the car. The guidance from a Porsche engine builder is that a rebuild is only required when 20%+ cylinder leakage is observed and that 10% and below is totally fine.
The car is tired and needs a few items renewing/replacing but that was reflected in the purchase price. Its had paint in places which isnt great but there is no filler on the car and original panels in place.
Let's see where this ownership journey ends up.
