Had my EBC discs and pads fitted today. The black discs and red stuff ceramic pads go nicely with the black/red C5 and they stop from cold too. Haven't had a chance yet to push the Denso IT20s yet but yellow convertibles overtaking on the inside beware!

Great new Peter - I am just about to buy some EBC Red-Stuff rears - need replacing and for 70quid delivered inc VAT beats the price BM would charge at 112+VAT!

I think they are the standard GM AlDelco Pads, but they didnt specify. Yep also take your own oil. They charge £12+VAT a quart!

Interesting report on the Red-Stuff pads i have put on the rears. They seem to generate way more dust for some reason. Thought it was bedding in but its been about 3K miles now! I have some AlDelco pads I got from Canada, on the front. These make hardly any dust compared to the rears and that is odd. Ive noticed that American pads have a sort of orangey dust, the Red-Stuff is a thick black dust. One plus point they do have is that they are red

Sounds very strange. Firstly I have found the red stuff very light on dust, of course you may brake more and harder than me. But the fronts are clealry more dirty as one would expect. I wash the car weekly and the rears could easily go without a clean although they get one. This time of year the fronts need one.

I had less dust with the Red Stuff pads than the standard pads too.

Nope, these are the ceramics. They are working fine and i dont think my braking is unnecessarly heavy. Maybe i have got a really really good set of fronts!
