Afternoon,

Staff currently away in Spain, coming back end of the week. Current restrictions say they have to quarantine for 2 weeks...

Had a look on the web and you can book a NHS test if you have symptoms. Is this the only way you can get a test?

Cheers.

Anyone can book a private test, but I don’t think a negative test result removes the need to quarantine 14 days, due to incubation period.

NHS says otherwise??

Where can you easily get private tests? I can find tests for whether you’ve had it - but not antigen tests for actually having it.

Not looked properly yet, but just come across this.

Negative test result

A negative result means the test did not find coronavirus.
You do not need to self-isolate if your test is negative

Seen other bits on new websites saying otherwise, but old articles and I want to see it on a reputable source.

That's only if you've had the test due to symptoms.

As above, nothing about getting a test meaning you don't have to isolate - if that was the case I'm sure more people would be going abroad! https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronav...
