Phones connecting?

We both have the same make of phone ( Huawei).

If I search for something it shows up on the wifes phone and vice versa.

Is it because they are the same make? 'Share' is definitely off.

Have you set both phones up under the same Google account, maybe it saves searches over multiple devices
that way ?

Yes, possibly. It did ask for a back up account.

That could get uncomfortable rather quickly if you happened to stray across a certain hub

I bought her something really rare for Xmas and it will be a mega surprise when she gets it. I have nearly spoilt the surprise a couple of times nearly searching.
