From December I’m going to be working in Eastern Europe. Will be staying in hotels mostly, will have WiFi.
Looking at buying the new iPad Air to watch Netflix on etc.
Will a vpn work on an iPad and let me do that?
Any recommendations for a good vpn, not concerned about price.

NordVPN have an iOS app. Their Android app works well so assume the iOS one will too. Hunt for discount codes before buying!

Where abouts did Nord not work?

Did it not work at all, or were you just not able to connect to BBC/ Netflix etc ?

I've found Netflix to be pretty consistent with access to shows and movies when travelling around, so that shouldn't be a big deal.

Of course you'll need it for terrestrial shows, but some of those end up on Netflix anyway. Just a thought if it's more hassle than it's worth?

if it's for watching region locked TV, a smart DNS may be a better solution.
never owned an ipad so not sure if apple allow dns tinkering though.
