How knackered is this shock?
Discussion
Much the same state as the old rear shocks on my RRC.
I just trimmed the bottom of the shroud.
Lasted until one failed.
When I fitted the new ones I couldn't feel any difference between the new ones & the remaining working old one & on the bounce test no difference.
But for the one failing I'd still be on the old ones.

Impossible to tell from that one photo I'm afraid. No oil leaking might just be because it's all already leaked out over the years.
Why not whip it off, trim off the rusty bits and have a proper look at them for any signs of trouble?
If these are originals personally I'd be changing them anyway given they aren't expensive.
