Having seen Nico Rosberg on the SkyF1 coverage I am beginning to like his no nonsense approach to inverviews and opinions on drivers.

What are other peopls views on him as a Pundit / Presenter

He's your poor man's Roy Keane.

He's the new Eddie Jordan. Likes to stir things up, doesn't seem to care what others think.

He's better on RTL, I don't speak German hehe

Jokes aside good insight with him last week re Carlos and the McLaren front wing, also very good in the comms box in FP3.. so credit where credit is due..

It's good to have a pundit with such recent F1 experience, so he does add some value even if I don't particularly like the guy.

He's intelligent, articulate and gets straight to the point without pointless waffle - the perfect antidote to Croft.

I quite like him as a pundit - he has current knowledge of the cars etc and his English appears to be of a higher standard than Crofty.....

He just grates on me. He seems too interested in himself and his presenting style is quite clumsy.

But if we could pick Rosberg or Croft, I'd welcome Nico with open arms.

I wonder if he's listened to past race commentary on his racing antics by the likes of Croft, Brundle, di Resta and Davidson?

I don`t usually like him, but Crofty was doing the usual and trying to build up some drama and Nico simply said "well, lets wait and see" or something along those lines which instantly stopped the conversation. laugh

When the time comes, it would be "interesting" to see Kimi as an interviewer.

Not as current as Ant Davidson who I rate as a pundit.

Rosberg, sorry but I just can’t warm to him at all. Maybe if he wore some socks with his suits it would help.

His up to date knowledge is great and I like his no nonsense approach to it.

Visually however he’s turning into his father before our eyes. With Donald Trump’s hair.

He's less syrupy than Jordan.

He can be quite forthright. He was quite critical on Martin Brundle going on too much about Mick Schumacher dad in an interview with Mick.

I don't watch Sky so thanks for mentioning that. I'll see if I can find it online.

There is and always has been something a bit smug and almost irritating about Rosberg for me.

But looking past that, he does have good insights, he is direct and very frank. He clearly has no time for 'let's discuss something dull in an attempt to make it a major topic' - which is pretty much what Croft seems to be paid to do.

If you want a quick and concise summary of what just happened on track, along with what the driver was trying to do and why, Rosberg provides it. I've come to accept the fact he's a bit of an arse... He's very switched on and knows his subject well. That's the main thing for me, so I hope he remains smile
