I've been given a barbell and two dumbbells and want to use them at home.

I had intended to do bodyweight training only but having the weights now can do a mixture of both.

Couple of questions:

Can anyone recommend a relevant app to use?
Do I need to get a bench?

Thanks in advance.

Bench that offers incline and decline would be a very god idea. Great for loads of exercises for most muscle groups and in many situations will save your back.

I don't know of any apps personally but there are a huge number of guides to achieving your goals with free weights online. Mens Health etc. all have them with tons of video clips.

The danger is that you will get loads of conflicting advice. Have you got enough weights to do a deadlift with your barbell? And maybe squat too?

Is this a five minute argument hehe

edit: but actually Caliverse is excellent, worth downloading (free) and has a bunch of workouts for different equipment levels.
