Blogging with video...which new laptop?
Discussion
Amazon Prime day has brought forward the purchase plans. This is for a budget laptop, less than £1,000.
Uses are for editing short videos (4-5 mins) for blogging plus general MS Office type stuff, so does not need to be hugely powerful. Decent screen on both, but will mostly be connected to a larger monitor. USB-C hub is needed for both.
iMovie is free on Apple, but need to buy equivalent for the Dell.
Here are my choices...

Option 3.
Samsung.

Thoughts and advice? Or is there another option for the budget?
Cheers.

If you want a Mac, I'd be looking here (they're essentially new) rather than opting for a base spec Air:

I had an Air for a while, and while I realise I porbably have slightly unrealistically high standard for how powerful I want a laptop to be, I just wouldn't touch it for editing a video of any length.
I've had good experiences with XPS machines, but for a budget of around £1,000 I'd be looking at something second hand, especially if you'd prefer Apple. Something like this, this or this.
