The Fiat 126 was the first driverless car. Who knew?

Like that, nice clipped headlights.

But the Honda concept looked good too... until they ruined it.
It even looks like the Honda one.

They're the same colour, and both hatchbacks, that's about it.

They put it in front a focus group (probably women) which told them to make it fat, gawky and boring, and they did.

Whoever designed this, do NOT use a focus group they are infested with boring fking idiots who haven't got a clue; just build it exactly as it is.
They designed the production car before the concept https://www.honda.co.uk/engineroom/electric/ev/hon...

Which Came First: The Concept or the Production Car?
Hitomi says that although there was a concept car – the Honda Urban EV prototype – which would ordinarily be created before the production model, for the first time Honda started with the production car and then later created the concept.

“As far as I know, it’s never been done before at Honda. There are some aspects we have actually transported from the concept car because of the highly positive feedback from drivers.”

You assume focus group, in reality I'd suggest it's making a car that passes all of the global safety regulations that is the issue and that can also deliver decent ride quality and efficiency into the bargain. I'd say they did fairly well to be honest with all that stacked against it.
