How can I find out a correct CO2 figure?

I am in the process of ordering a new company car.

All the info from the dealers, lease company and gov website etc tells me the car is 50g/km, but when I select one of the option packs on the manufacturers web site the co2 changes to 51g/km. Which make a big difference to the monthly tax bill. The spec configurator is the only place where I can see this.

So I am trying to get a concrete answer as I don't want to order the car and find out after it's delivered that it is in the higher tax bracket. Any suggestions?

I expect the configurator is correct - CO2 rating depends on individual options nowadays so maybe try tweaking your spec and see if it changes. You can also look in the price list as this usually details the effect that options have.

What car is it?

if selecting an option pack increases it to 51 then that's probably right and was tested again with that option pack.

option being bigger wheels? more weight so increases CO2

What car is it?

V60 Polestar Engineered. The Lounge pack makes the difference probably due to the weight and drag of the Panoramic roof.

Just found out adding 20" wheels brings the CO2 down to 49g/km so I can add the lounge pack and I'm back to 50!!!

Bit of head scratching.
