987 Door speaker a bit breezy

My Boxster door doesn't leak water, but it does leak air through the speaker onto your leg when you get up to about 40mph and then harder as you get faster. All the plastic inserts in the door seem to be there.

No sign of any leaks so the membrane should in theory be intact. I am thinking of taking the door card off, sealing the speaker with some plastic/adhesive and putting it back together.

Any other ideas, only noticed it recently as always have the top down if the weather makes this possible.
