Clever or Stupid? - 03 plate V70

After the BMW Touring died (Auto box failure), we needed a new (hopefully trusty) family wagon.
To be used for tip runs, camping trips, christmas tree collection, family long journeys when loaded to the gunnels and as the service barge (and tow vehicle) for the rally car.
03 plate, 131K miles, looks tidy enough, fairly clean inside and out. 12 months ticket on it
Not a single piece of paperwork with the car so no idea when the timing belt was done.....
Bought off facebook for £900
If it does us 2 years I'll be pretty pleased.
