Having decided to give my Jeep a 'bit of a spruce up', I felt there was no point in keeping the carpet that came with the Jeep, after all it was as old and knackered as I am.
After a bit of hunting around on the web, I came across Zebedee's Fabrics down in Bournemouth. They also put stuff on E-Bay (type in 'car upholstery') place your bid and hope for the best!
My bid came out tops last friday, posted the cheque sat. carpet arrived this morning...'nuff said.

so what sort of carpet did you end up with?
black?
red?
classy lime green?
presumably rubber plastic backed?
recommendation for transmissions perhaps?

My nice new roll of carpet is the proper stuff...ideal for open vehicles and boats...rot proof....and I struck lucky on this occassion as no one else bid against me lol.
Anyone who fancies getting some of their own, phone Zebedee Fabrics on 01202 422811 to buy direct.
What colour you ask Dr? ah...that'll be telling my handsome!

Oh, OK then.....if it pleases everyone, I shall revert back to the Queen's English just so that all those over the Tamar can understand me.
One's carpet arrived at one's residence yesterday, the colour of which was a most delightful shade of Light Grey. I'm so terrible, terribly sorry DrSeg old chap...the pinkie bit was a wind up don't you know...none of that girlie business down here in the Duchy eh what? !!

Now the debate can start in earnest...What colour do I go for, for the bodywork?????? At the mo it's rubbed down red......................................
