'A' service cost at Peter Smiths in Derbyshire

I need to get my S2 Elise in for an A service. Peter Smith are quoting £409!! - Is this right?

Can anyone recommend an alternative dealer or specialist? I live just off M1 J25, so Derbys, Notts, Leics sort of area.

No. Don't do that! Jesus.

There's loads of options in the midlands. Someone on here will give you a decent idea. Even Nick Whale should be cheaper than that.

I'm in Norfolk so I kinda have to pay out - but I don't mind going to the actual factory...

A good specialist should be around 250.

HR Owen quoted me £450 four years ago. I would love to know where the dealers buy oil.

Just had the 'C'service by Horizon - had a great day made very welcome, think i made some new friends - made the wait very pleasant. The most important thing is you are not left 'lonely as a cloud' waiting for the work to be done like at some other dealers also coffee is on tap.

Bit of a nightmare getting down from Chester, firstly it was congested, crawled all the way! (40mph tops) then tomtom stopped working!!! but Horizon guided me in with a quick phone call.

Had a great journey back - raced the weather all the way home, could see the rain chasing me up the 'A' roads in my rear view mirror - fab fun

Forgot to mention - i will be getting my work done by Horizon in the future - no problem

£409 for an 'A' is nearly the price of Horizon's 'C' inc. vat.
