How loud is a Cerb'?

I'm hoping to do some track days in my Cerb, and without the benefit of a dB meter I have no idea as to how loud my car is!

Anyone know what the average sound level is from a Sports Exhaust 4.2?

Asked almost the same question here. Will be having a noise test done in the next couple of weeks (with and without ACT's silencers, as i'm pretty sure it won't pass without them).

Will let you know the results when I have them.

FWIW, i am too loud at 98bd trackdays with my std zorsts but de-catted. Prior to that i ran with sports zorsts & cats & seemed to be fine! Its all a mystery to me

I don't think many Cerbs pass the 100dB static test @4000 RPM, mine was 118dB standard exhaust, dacat.

Thanks for the link, have just hired a dB meter from Book a Track to find out just how loud the beastie is.

Then it's off to get some bolt on silencers I guess.

Just tested with dB meter...

119.2 dB static @ 4000rpm

Time to visit A.C.T. I think.

Its for this very reason (oh and Im a crap driver and partial chicken) I havent attempted booking a track day, although I wasnt expecting it to be quite that loud (but do have sports zhorst/decatted)
