What are these, A41 Aylesbury

Just a quick question what are these, I see them everywhere around Aylesbury? Are they some sort of average speed cameras or what would you say they are?

There is tons of them infront of roundabouts and traffic lights, however they themselves are mounted on street lighting?

They look like PZT CCTV cameras to me. The white antennas above are wifi bridges for linking them back to base, easier than running cables.

. Probably just for monitoring traffic and the general population.

Similar are popping up all over the place, quick and easy to install, they get the power off the lamp post. Big brother is watching.

I always though they can fine you for traffic violations eg speeding, red light? Must of been wrong.

Local authority can use them for some violations, yellow boxes and bus lanes etc.

Cheers mate, I thought these are the vector average speed cameras that are also used for red light offences, they look similar tbh.

They might be, thought all those needed to be yellow.
