Hats off to the extremely clean and tidy S at this years show, i had a good nose around your engine bay looking for some tips ! Seemed like you have shares in the plastic clip people :D
Was going to say hello but wasnt sure who the owner was and the only guy near it was deep in conversation.
Nice car...its inspired me to clean up the engine bay on my S2 !

F reg'd Blue S2 on the TVR stand belongs to a guy called Tim who's clearly quite passionate about his car which incidentally is his daily driver too! I had a long chat with him - he's also considering attending S Club Heaven as well. Not sure if he posts on here though.

Biggest grin for your pound you can get.(Don't tell the wife!)Lots of interest and enthusiastic comments as well as some great chats with other S owners .

You had me worried for a moment, thought I had to spend even more time polishing the car

Ah !! I didn`t realise I was chatting to the legendary `TIM` at the pagent ! Very nice car it is too. Like the touches you have put in, such as the fan switch override in the footwell!

You said it took you two hours to get in to the show...... How long did it take you to get out at the end ?

I was considering showing my car, but pulled out at the last moment. Not sure my S2 would have last two hours in traffic anyway !

Anybody see the rather smart red S3 at the pagent as well ?

Hi Tim,

I still have my S (looking very smart too after a recent polish).

I've been out and about in the old girl a fair bit recently, what with this uncommon sunny weather and all

Been nice hooning around with the roof down listening to that new exhaust!

Still waiting on the new machine, had to have some work done on it and the dealer is rather slow!
Anyway, I might see it tomorrow but the sad news is that I'll be waving goodbye to the S after 3 years of great fun. Still, I have some plans for the new one (in the long term), including an extra 150bhp and some re-styling!

tiggy... I spent half an hour with the owner of that red S. I finally got him to call on the TVR stand to ask about membership. Really nice bloke, hope he finds his way here (He hadn't heard of Pistonheads!!!)
.... I put him right though.

Hi Kevin

Crickey...thought the S would be a fond memory by now!

When you say you have some styling modifications to make to the new one I think you are understating the case a tad!
Anyway, all OK with you on the job security front?
Tim.

Hi Tim,

Sorry, I've only just seen this and the S has gone now.

Good luck with the exhaust, probably easier for you to get the JP system throught ACT so there'll be no waiting around for it to be made.
